I still fly when logistics make it very difficult to avoid it. Also I have family abroad so it is difficult to avoid it altogether. However, I am increasingly doing my best in using alternatives to flight when possible.

I am an archaeologist working on past human-animal relationships. Studied and worked in Italy, then moved to UK in early 90s. Research mainly in Britain and Italy, secondarily Spain and Greece. Have taught/worked in Naples, Lecce, London, Birmingham, Durham, Sheffield.
