I have never flown, and won’t until renewably powered lighter-than-air or perhaps slightly-heavier-than-air flight becomes available. I’ve always figured it’s critical to start with myself in order to credibly advocate for changes for others.

Presently flying is roughly 10 times as energy intensive as driving, and our planet cannot even cope with all the driving. Plus most people on the planet do not have a choice; they will never be able to fly, and though good for the planet, that is simply unfair.
