I am a medicine student in Munich. After I finished school I traveled around the world, ignoring the immense amount of carbon emissions. Since then I haven’t set a foot on a plane. There are more than enough beautiful places to travel to that I can reach by train.
While we are flying less, the rest of the world is flying more and more. There is no way of tackling the climate crisis if there are no boundaries set to flying. We have to show politicians that we need and want those boundaries.
Medical student, Munich.
