At the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich, we are really concerned about the GHG emissions we are causing. We have formed a working group that discusses and proposes measures to reduce emissions. We search for measures that are fair and efficient. It’s not easy, but we are determined.
Mostly working on migration, ethnicity and elections, my work is not directly linked to issues of climate change.
But wait, I am co-author of a book on attitudes toward issues of globalization, including fighting climate change. Among others, we investigate why elites (including academics) find fighting climate change important — at least more so than the mass public. A shimmer of hope!
