As a young researcher, traveling is an important component of both the advancement of my career and of my research. Conferences, collaboration visits, and schools are part of the game and cannot be fully avoided.

But still, choices can be made. I try to keep air travel to a minimum and where I am in the position, I promote the use of video conferencing and sensible choice of meeting locations.

After concluding my undergraduate studies in nuclear, particle, and astrophysics, I now pursue a PhD in astronomy.
