I have not flown since 2014. I am an environmental and social justice campaigner. Although I have longstanding professional, friendship, and activist links in Latin America, I accept that it is no longer ethical to pursue them via personal travel — particularly since I have flown many miles over the years.
It is not fair, but we must all be frugal with our carbon emissions now.
Psychologist by training, manager by career progression, activist and intellectual by values and interests. I was involved in the ecological movement as a student in the early 80s and returned to it some 15 years ago. I have a long, interdisciplinary publication list.
