As a concerned citizen I believe working and traveling all over the globe is unsustainable, and that aircraft emissions degrade Earth’s atmosphere. In the last decade I fly less frequently and will continue to fly less often in the future.

Investing in local interests and routines which support the future health of my family feels right. I enjoy spending less on “gear” for experiences, transportation, and lodging, as well as less time waiting in airports and aircraft. It takes courage to change and adopt measures for thinking globally and living locally.
