When I heard a NY-LA round trip warmed the globe about a year’s worth of driving, I realized how much more I was polluting than I thought. I challenged myself to go a year without flying, expecting I’d suffer and hate it.
It became one of the best decisions I’ve made. By month three, I decided to go for another year. Now I’m in my fourth year. I wrote about it in Inc., and I’ll speak about it in an upcoming TEDx talk. Why do we research if not to believe and act on our discoveries?
I have a PhD in physics and an MBA, both from Columbia. Now I teach leadership, entrepreneurship, and initiative. I host the Leadership and the Environment podcast http://joshuaspodek.com/podcast.
