I am now trying to fly as little as possible for my research and to attend conferences.

I will therefore go to The Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, UK and Poland in the coming months, all by train (except for a one flight due to the lack of time to transfer between two events.

I would like to propose to the academic community in Switzerland (especially SNSF and universities) to mobilize extra funds to finance flight-free travels for voluntary researchers.
