When invited to a conference, I now offer a video session – or, more reluctantly, to join live (energy demands are also high). This not only is a polite answer, it also sets the organisers thinking (a bit).
Trained as meteorologist, I worked on air pollution models first and later on climate change issues — mainly down-scaling problems.
In the last few years I have been active in Education for Sustainable Development. I have initiated the Climate Change Center Austria as well as the Alliance for Sustainable Universities in Austria and, recently, a project to involve Austrian Universities in the Sustainable Development Goals (uniNeTZ).
