I am a climate activist since I retired from teaching. I helped run a community-wide carbon footprint lowering game that involved over 12 teams using an app to monitor carbon for 3 months—’Taming Bigfoot.’

I have taken several train rides, including Boston to Seattle and Seattle to Oakland. I also do not go on cruises, which have a fourfold greater footprint.

I am working to create a community carbon offset program and a church offset program.
