I had to go to Svalbard (79°N) regularly from Paris 22 times, for professional purposes (science logistics). This ended in 2009, as I changed my job. I decided to stop flying; this is my 10th no-flight year, though I flew in December 2019 for my mother’s birthday.

In March 2020, I’m supposed to go on a professional governmental mission to Guyana from France, for four days, for a meeting with station managers. My national boss will be there. There will be a representative of my station on site, as I believe nobody else but me can refuse to go. What do I do ?
