Everytime I travel using a road or rails, I discover that the travel is not only about the destination; the journey is equally important. How I get to where I would like to get to… in the process I have an adventure which offers a richer and more layered experience than sterile airports and security checks do.

However, as an immigrant and earth citizen with roots in multiple continents I haven’t given up flying, and possibly won’t in the near future. What I try to do instead is be more discerning and make the most of the flights that I take.
