I love to travel, but as I grew more aware of the climate crisis and it’s outsized effect on the Global South, I could not morally continue to fly without acknowledging the consequences and cognitive dissonance of this action.

Though I have not been able to be completely flight free, I now limit flying only to see family overseas that are not reachable in any other practical way, and now normally only every other year.
