My research area is currently focused on the intersection between academic travel and the climate crisis. I am looking at the need for conference travel, especially for graduate students, and how strategies can be developed to reduce travel while improving employment and networking opportunities.

I hope to extend this research into campus initiatives to reduce academic travel. I must travel twice per year for work. Outside of that, I am taking a two-year hiatus on academic-related flying.
