I have never been an aficionado of flying far away for conferences or holidays. Since 2015 I have stopped flying for professional reasons, and since 2016 definitively.

I have to admit that flying has never been a pleasant moment, and that being aware of the impact of GHG emissions was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I am an associate professor of computer science in a neuroscience lab. I work on the geometrical modelling of the brain shape — I develop tools from applied math to quantify the cortical folding pattern, and I try to model the morphogenesis of the brain by using bio-mechanical models.
