In the face of the climate emergency that poses a direct threat to the existence of all of life on Earth, I’ve decided not to fly anymore. I’m convinced that voluntarily curbing individual consumption (including, but not limted to flying) is a necessary and important part of a global solution.
I’ve been flying throughout my life to various holiday destinations and congresses, so my lifetime carbon footprint is already too high to be sustainable. My last flight was in 2016.
