I have not flown for personal reasons since 2007. My business trips in Europe are always by train, ferry or buses. I tend to fly overseas once every two years for a project. I am trying to always involve training in overseas projects, so that there is no need to go back again to the same place.

There are alternatives to flying even for long distance work travel, e.g. Southampton-New York ferry or Transiberian trains.
